Meet Jo

Jo graduated from the University of Nottingham with a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy in 1995 and has over 30 years of experience working within the NHS. Throughout her career, she has specialised predominantly in the management of musculoskeletal conditions, holding Highly Specialist Physiotherapist roles in Rheumatology, Trauma and Orthopaedics, and Spinal Disorders.

She has completed Master’s-level study at the University of Southampton, focusing on extended scope physiotherapy practice and the use of outcome measures to evaluate treatment effectiveness. Jo is also a certified Advanced Practitioner.

Passionate about helping people remain active, Jo has always enjoyed keeping active herself. Over the years, she has completed numerous half marathons and taken part in several multi-sport events, including the local Weymouth Ironman. She has also completed a sponsored four-day cycle ride from London to Paris.

Jo combines extensive clinical expertise with a practical understanding of the challenges that injury, pain and rehabilitation can bring, helping patients of all ages and activity levels return to doing the things that matter most to them.

Meet Chris

Chris graduated from the University of Nottingham with a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy in 1996. Since then, he has gained 30 years of experience working across the NHS, full-time private practice, and professional sport, including six years with Leicester Tigers RFC.

Chris has a particular interest and advanced expertise in the assessment, treatment and rehabilitation of sports injuries and acute musculoskeletal conditions. Within the NHS, he is also involved in developing advanced practice roles and supporting clinicians working within these specialist positions.

He is currently completing a Master’s degree in Advanced Clinical Practice at the University of Southampton and is a qualified Independent Non-Medical Prescriber.

Away from work, Chris has a lifelong enthusiasm for sport and adventure. He competed in the British Three Peaks Yacht Race in 2008 and has taken part in the challenging Scottish Islands Peaks Race on five occasions.

Chris combines extensive experience with a practical, evidence-based approach to rehabilitation, helping patients recover from injury, restore function and return to the activities that matter most to them.
