Summer ’24.
This year’s Olympics have truly inspired me like never before. Although West Dorset may not boast the grandeur of Paris, there’s nothing quite like jogging through Dorchester and over Maiden Castle in the early morning, or taking a swim in the sea at Weymouth! The Olympic athletes are at the peak of their performance – why not visit us to ensure you’re just as physically fit?
June 24.
Ah, reminiscing about the old Physiotherapy college days back in 1993 when life was all about study, sports, and fun. Fast forward to today, and life has taken quite a turn with work, family, and a bit of sports sprinkled in between. But let me tell you, when it comes to our kids, sports seem to rule the roost! We’ve become seasoned spectators, cheering them on at the pitch and in various athletics stadiums across the South West region, from Dorchester and beyond. Being a physio has its perks as a parent. Whether it’s a pulled hamstring, a hefty tackle causing a hip strain, or just post-gym soreness, there have been plenty of sporting mishaps that we’ve become quite adept at handling. Speaking of sports injuries, why not consider booking an appointment for some help?
Spring 24.
I believe that Spring has finally sprung!
Every spring, as the temperature rises and the days get longer, I am reminded of my favourite book, “The Wind in the Willows.” The feel in the air and the sun in the sky reminds me of little Mole and his fervent spring cleaning, who very soon throws away his broom and runs away for an adventure.
I too have thrown away my broom (metaphorically of course), and am itching for a spring and summer of being outdoors, of movement and adventure, and perhaps you are too?
As always, we wish you and your family good health!
Jo Brookes.
